We had a great night's playing at Seamill Hydro on Saturday. We started and finished the night with marathon Strip the Willow sets which nearly exhausted everyone including us. Exactly the way a ceilidh should be, good music, lots of dancing and a wee bit to drink.

The Scottish Wedding Show

The Reel Fling will be at the forthcoming Scottish Wedding show at the SECC in Glasgow from the 21st to 22nd February. We will be at stand 435D and the show is open from 10am till 6pm both days. 14th February

Our wedding function on Valentines day took us to Carmichael Hall in Giffnock. The audience required some extra persuation to join us on to the dance floor but that didnt stop everyone enjoying themselves and the evening ended very well with some classic rock tunes on the disco.

30th January

You are always guaranteed a unique evening in Edinburgh and the Burns Supper being held in the Grange Cricket Ground certainly met all expectations. Overall a quiet and subdued evening of dancing but did culminate in a lively and energetic Strip The Willow to finish the evening on a high.

24th January

Happy Birthday Graeme!

Our second accordionist had his 25th Birthday today (over the hill!). It was a coinsidence that we played in the Alea Casino for a birthday party the same night.

17th January

Last night took us all the way to Kinloch Rannoch for a wedding in the lovely MacDonald hotel. Although it was a small crowd they were all up on the dance floor for every dance, just what we like.
